Job Description:
We are seeking a Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounting records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This role is critical in maintaining our financial health and supporting our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure timely payments.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance.
